ICSI-CCGRT

ICSI-Centre for Corporate Governance Research and Training (CCGRT), Mumbai is the Research and Training Centre of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a statutory body incorporated under an Act of Parliament functioning under the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The Centre was inaugurated in May 1999 by then Chief Justice of India Dr. A S Anand. The Centre is set up with the objective of fostering quality research, thereby nurturing the growth and development of students and members of the Institute. Over the years the centre has remarkable growth to establish itself as a brand name in knowledge creation and dissemination of information for the growth of the profession across the country.

CCGRT, Mumbai has contributed remarkably in the past through its various initiatives towards Academics inputs, Corporate Training and Research. The academic and research team at CCGRT, Mumbai is actively engaged in publishing research related to the profession and inculcating research acumen amongst students and members.

CCGRT, Mumbai invites research papers from members and encourage them to publish their quality research in the monthly publication of Chartered Secretary. The Centre organises joint workshops and training programmes with NSE, BSE, MNLU and IIBF on the new and emerging area of the Company Secretary profession.

INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

CCGRT, Mumbai is equipped with state of art training and research related facilities, in the lap of lush green and pleasant environment surrounded by rich, natural landscape but ideally located and flanked by some of the ultra-modern architectural edifices not too far from the main business hub of the country. Though the Centre is away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, yet close enough to the city connected through the marvellous ‘Atal Setu’ the new trans-harbour link connecting Navi Mumbai to Mumbai. The centre is located quite near to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and walkable distance from CBD Belapur Railway station as well as CBD Bus terminus.

The facilities include an auditorium of 120 persons capacity equipped with pleasant decor, audio visual, acoustics, lighting and public address system; wi-fi ; one conference hall with a capacity of 50 persons, equipped with facilities, such as, TV, LCD Projector, Audio Visual Decks, Public Address System, classrooms / lecture halls of variable sizes equipped with appropriate furniture and other training related equipment. The Centre accommodates indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and dining hall for the inmates.

The Residential Wing accommodates participants and guests in self-contained hostel rooms (twin sharing) with attached bathrooms. All facilities are comfortably air-conditioned with pleasant interiors providing conducive environment for learning and research.

A Library, with computers furnished with audio visuals and internet facility housing over 3000 books, current periodicals and reference literature is also in place.
